To begin with you will need to attend a school in the area that is approved by the Kansas or Missouri Real Estate Commission.  One such school is Career Education Systems.  The school is located in the Ward Parkway Shopping Center in Kansas City Missouri at 85th and State Line.  The class is given either in the daytime or evenings.

The next step is to take the real estate exam.  After passing the exam, you can contact any of the Brokers at Crown Realty to apply for a license. 

The tuition for the schooling is $250, the exam fee is $75 and the license fee is $40. This is a very small investment for a lifetime career.

OTHER COSTS
After your license has been issued, you will need to join the local, state, and national associations. The local association provides you with the database, known as the Multiple Listing Service, so that you can serve the needs of the sellers and buyers who will become your clients.
